Annetta Methodists have been worshipping on the current site since 1866. The original wood frame structure partially collapsed in 1936 and was replaced with the current stone building. In 1989 the attendance had decreased to three people, including the pastor, and there was discussion on whether or not the Church should try to remain open. After prayer, they decided to wait one more week. The next Sunday a new family began to attend, then more, and the church grew. Today Annetta UMC is active in local, county, national and international missions. It is a vibrant, lively church that still welcomes all persons and does God's work everyday. Come see!
